In true spirit of its vision and mission,   Maseno School has proven itself as an institution that nurtures academic excellence and full blossoming of talent.

For over a century, Maseno has prided itself in producing alumni who have ended up begin notable leaders and pacesetters in their various fields.

 Our students are trained to believe that  hard work, discipline and humility are vital  ingredients of success in both academics and co-curricula fronts.

The school has been registering impressive results in academics with over 98% of all the candidates sitting the final KCSE examination gaining entry into universities to pursue higher education. Indeed, since the turn of the century, the school’s impressive results have resulted in a lot of interest from prospective students wishing to join her and be part of her legacy.

The school offers unique subjects alongside the basic ones of languages, sciences and humanities. They include

These are special subjects that offer our alumni that extra edge over students from other schools.

Maseno’s school achievement in co-curricular front has equally been impressive. The school believes in holistic education and this has fired our students to excel in sports, students congress of Science and Technology, environmental competitions, public speaking, essay writing, scouting, music festivals and drama, among others.

Indeed, it is a requirement for every student to pursue at least one co-curriculum activity.

In some of these activities, the school has participated in and won continental, East Africa and national titles. For example our basketball team won the African under 18 basketball title in the year 2003 in South Africa and has won the East and Central Africa secondary schools basketball title thrice. The rugby team has won the National Sevens Rugby title thrice and represented the country at the UAE Dubai Sevens and the Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens, South Africa under 19 competitions.

The office of the Dean of Studies is the custodian and coordinates all the school programmes.This ensures harmony in the management of the students life in school.

The office also coordinates the school’s with other schools and institutions especially in academic benchmarking.
